Audrey Davis
PSYCHOLOGY ASSOCIATE
Ms. Audrey Davis grew up in Charlotte, North Carolina and attended Princeton University for her undergraduate degree. She currently has a Master’s degree in clinical psychology from Loyola University Maryland and is in the process of completing her doctoral degree there. Ms. Davis is licensed as a psychology associate in the state of Maryland.
Ms. Davis has provided counseling and administered psychological and neuropsychological assessments at the Loyola Clinical Center. In addition to her current work in private practice, she administers neuropsychological assessments to children in at University of Maryland Medical System, where she analyzes brain-behavior relationships and brain dysfunction to diagnose developmental, behavioral, and mental health disorders. She is also spearheading a dissertation project studying the intersection of romantic relationships and mental health disorders.
Ms. Davis has developed a passion for supporting clients across the lifespan with anxiety disorders, mood disorders, poor self-esteem, trauma, grief, and life transitions. She has also worked with families to foster effective parenting approaches and manage behavioral and emotional dysregulation in children and adolescents. Ms. Davis primarily incorporates therapeutic interventions from cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and trauma-informed treatment approaches. Most importantly, she takes a holistic perspective of health and wellness, and she values a compassionate and cooperative relationship with her clients and their support systems.
